Skull and Bones

Skull and Bones is a secret society, of some renown, at Yale University.  The motto of the society is said to be “Bari Quippe Boni”, Latin for “Nature makes only a few who are good.”  To this should be added “Sin aliter tibi videtur, quod unus ex illis non credentibus et” which means “If this is what you believe then you’re obviously not one of them.”   Seeing, and thereby validating and extracting, the good in others is a strong indicator of whether or not someone is headed in the right direction, or “good” themselves.

Also alleged to be hanging in the Skull and Bones Tomb is the engraving of a vault below:

“We War Der Thor, Wer Weiser, Wer Bettler Oder Kaiser?” is German for “Who was the fool, who the wise man, beggar or king?” and below the vault is engraved; “Ob Arm, Ob Beich, im Tode gleich,” which means “Whether poor or rich, all’s the same in death.”  The engraving was once accompanied by a card, on which was written, “From the German Chapter. Presented by Patriarch D.C. Gilman of D. 50.” (Sutton, op. cit., p. 233)

The original German text is from a longer poem (which predates the Illuminati by 300 years). It’s about how everyone must eventually dance with death.  The original meaning of this was that all men are equal; the very opposite of the nonsensical  ‘Bari Quippe Boni’ (few are good) motto mentioned above.

Consequently popular modern speculation about the intentions of the Skull and Bones society is that many of them aren’t grasping the original meaning of ‘who is the fool’ and are misinterpreting the words to mean that there is no collective good or afterlife and that selfishness, while the getting is good, is the only smart recourse.

During the initiation ceremony of a bonesman the initiate is said to be asked whether a particular skeleton is that of a king, nobleman, or beggar.  Whatever the initiate’s choice the president is then said to declare that “The character of a being a man is the only thing that’s important.”

[The group is believed to be in possession of the stolen remains of  Apache leader Geronimo.  In the eye sockets of a bonesman, was Geronimo a peasant, nobleman, or king?]

If this “character is important” conclusion is true then there’s hope for bonesmen too and any “might as well be rich and powerful” misapplications are further illuminated by a famous Edgar Cayce quote:

“Few does power not destroy” – Edgar Cayce

Again, in light of this truth; “Who’s the fool?”

“The Character of the man is most important” suggests that some good men are actually likely to be found amongst the “Skull and Bones” group;  that some of them, just like most of us, would like to see the entire world thrive and flourish in peace.  Who knows, maybe one day there’ll even be a bonesman whistle blower?

The egocentric “Few are Good” motto of the group, however, seriously needs to be revisited by any among them who are objective about the truth.  The obvious vast preponderance of good is found outside of this, or any other, group.

One way to be good is to recognize and acknowledge the good in, and amongst, some of these men.

In Memory of Jack Campbell

Jack Campbell passed away in the spring of 2014.  He was already mature in age the first time that we met.  This was during the 1990’s at his Jack Campbell Gallery at Westminster Quay where we first compared articles that the, now defunct, New Westminster NewsLeader had printed regarding our respective businesses.  Jack was New Westminster’s most famous watercolour artist and we became fast friends.

Jack Campbell in the doorway of his Saturna Island Studio

I used to sit and chat with him in his gallery for periods of time between appointments.  One Halloween day, we walked together from the quay to The Westminster Club to have lunch.  Several cars honked and waved in appreciation of our Halloween headgear as we strolled down Columbia Street.  I was sporting a fake bloody knife through my head and was greatly outclassed by Jack who was wearing one of his stunning paper sculpture masks.

The Fraser River scene, titled The Carole J, depicted in his brochure, above top, wasn’t originally a gyclee print but was rather one of Jack’s 3-D paper sculptures.  I used this pic in the advertising that I ran for him in my publication, The Coffee Chronicles.  The swimming nude, titled Dream Stream below it was one of Jack’s many nude portraits.  It’s unusual in its flowing forms as Jack often painted with straight lines.

Jack told me that he and his wife Carol had once gone to a Vancouver restaurant where one of his mature male friends was dancing, in the nude, and striking various poses.  Not many people could pull that off.

Jack also once showed me a photograph of a waterfall mural that he painted for someone living in one of the town homes that overlook the Fraser River.  It graced a wall beside a hot tub as if cascading into it and, during the day, the light of the water shimmering off of the river outside would reflect through the window and dance on the water of the mural.  It was a brilliant dynamic concept.

Friendship Garden, above, was the first painting that Jack painted for me.  This is the name of the Japanese garden, adjacent to New Westminster’s city hall, which was given to the city by sister city, Moriguchi, Japan.  My beloved Cynthia and I, on wheelchair excursions from the hospital, used to feed the birds beside the above pond when she was dying of cancer.   Jack told me that he considered it to be a spiritual painting, because he considered me to be a spiritual man.  It graced the front cover of his brochure, for a period, before it was reduced to a more subordinate position in his brochure below.

While the web page is still up, the painting also graces Jack’s online bio page.  Evidently he thought a lot of the piece.

Another story that Jack told me took place when he shared a large room with  many other artist painters at an advertising agency.  He was working away when the most amazing insect landed on his drafting table.  It bore an impressive array of colorful stripes, dots, and other patterns.  Then it flew away. He told one of his colleagues about it who informed him that it was just one of their coworkers in the room who had a habit of capturing insects, painting them, and setting them free.

The second painting that Jack painted for me was Friendship Gardens II which also contains memories of Cynthia and I.

My third Jack Campbell painting is Sunshine Flowersong, (below) one of his Flower People series.  I selected it because of its fluid flowing lines; unusual, as mentioned above, for Jack.

My fourth Jack Campbell painting is Bear Totem in Queens Park (below).

He painted it from a photo that I took laying almost prone in the grass to find the proper angle so that the tree limbs looked like they formed the totem’s arms.

The Original Bear Totem Photo

A dramatic variation on this totem painting resides in the collection of former New Westminster City Counselor, and British Columbia MLA, Chuck Puckmayr.

Jack was very generous in donating his work for community fund-raising auctions.  Consequently his work graces the homes of many of the Who’s Who of New Westminster.

Jack moved away from his New Westminster fame to become Saturna Island’s most famous artist.

Three of the above paintings, excluding the nude, were once featured in the window of the Community Police Department, (the former Cobblestone Art Gallery) for a New Westminster Art Festival.

I was surprised to find a Jack Campbell Christmas card, identical to the one above, framed, mounted and up for bid the Westminster Club’s exclusive upscale silent auction.  Consequently I’ve held on to the card and other pieces of Jack’s ephemera including a 1997 calendar, a post card exhibition notice, and the greeting card below:

The above opened-up greeting card features the image of a large mural titled Facets of Saturna that Jack created for the general store on the island.  The general store facility also housed a high quality Mexican Tapas restaurant in the evenings.  Below the horses to the right, in the above image, see a depiction of Saturna Island’s famous annual lamb roast.  One year Jack and I helped wire up the lamb crucifixes the night before the event at the community Rec Center.  Afterward, over the communal dinner of the delicious lamb internal bits I recall that one gentleman was vigorously encouraging me to join the Saturna Volunteer Fire Department but I thought that my response time, via highway and ferry from Burnaby, might be a little slow.

One of Jack’s creations sat above the mantle of his Saturna Island home.  It was a unique representation of a large circular pierced Native spirit wheel, a beaver I think, cut from foam core and painted to look like wood.  Evidently it had been suspended from the ceiling at a New Westminster event and, when it spun, the light would send the shadows whirling around the walls of the room.  This, along with a piece titled Spirit Dance, were among my favorite of his works of art.

Once Jack asked me what I thought that he should call his particular “Pieces of Light” style of painting.  When I suggested something like “Prismatic Reflection” he looked at me like I was crazy and said. “It’s all bullshit anyway.”  We laughed.

One of the things that I admired most about Jack was his plain good-natured grace.  There are many people who agree with T.V.’s Dr. House character that “Everybody Lies”.  Not Jack.  He never lied.  Moreover, no matter how delicate the situation Jack could effortlessly, invariably, speak the truth with utter gracious diplomacy.  The best that I can say for myself is that I try not to lie, and while I believe that I succeed most of the time, Jack made it look easy.  He was an fine example of how all human beings should be.

Vicki, my other half, first met Jack at an exhibition by the Arts Council of New Westminster.  She was very impressed by his big friendly hug.  Her favorite Jack Campbell artwork featured the skyline of Granville Island.

After Jack moved to Saturna Island I visited, and house/cat sat for him, a couple of times.  Unfortunately after Vicki and I merged our lives together we found out that she was too terribly allergic to their cats for us to visit Jack and Carol again.

The sunset view from the ferry leaving Saturna Island the last time that we saw Jack.

Farewell Jack.  So happy to still have pieces of you in our life.

Message To The U.N.

UNLogo

Vladimir Putin addressed the U.N. after having actively accepted the invitation into Syria’s war.  All things being equal I thought I’d proffer my observations too:

“Few does power not destroy.” Edgar Cayce 3976-13

Who, at the U.N., has been destroyed via power?  In a world of more than 7 billion shades of gray what’s the objective measure for crossing over the line into world class evil?

One such benchmark is Imperialism.

When Adolf Hilter first became chancellor of Germany, Edgar Cayce stated that he was capable of being a truly good statesman, and that some of his policies were even spiritual in inception.  Hitler would govern well as long as he didn’t engage in imperialism.  Evidently Hitler crossed over to the dark side when he decided to annex other people’s property.

“(Q) Explain the relation between the information just given regarding Germany and the changes for this year, and the information already given through this channel on Hitler.
(A) Read that, my children, that has been given; that there was the destiny
for the man, if he did not allow Imperialism to enter in – and it is entering. Hence must be called into question.” Edgar Cayce 3976-15

Cayce also spoke of Russia’s karma as a nation now overreacting with social expansionism in order to compensate for having been ruled so selfishly during the Tsarist era.  Russians honestly, on a profoundly deep level, regard themselves as the world’s policemen against extreme capital selfishness.

“Europe is as a house broken up. Some years ago there was the experience of a mighty peoples being overridden for the gratification and satisfaction of a few, IRRESPECTIVE of any other man’s right. That peoples are going through the experience of being born again, and is the thorn in the flesh to many a political and financial nation in Europe, in the world…

(Q) What is the name of that nation referred to?

(A) Russia!”  Edgar Cayce 3976-8

Notwithstanding this protective intent, evidently imperialism, as with Hitler, causes serious degradation.  Mr. Putin, as a long-time self-professed Imperialist, has been personally spiritually destroyed ever since he adopted this as policy.  Western imperialism to procure natural resources isn’t any better.  Both Russia and the U.S. are being led by people who have been personally spiritually destroyed.  These are people who evidently never learned from their mothers the common decency of not taking other people’s stuff.

Our nations seem to be a long way yet from recognizing Universal Law as pervasive and unavoidable.

In his book Nonzero, Robert Wright concludes that, based on increasing complexity and desire to connect with each other,  we may be on the threshold of a new phase of development involving the creation of a unified global consciousness.  Pulitzer Prize-winning biologist E. O. Wilson has posited that, genetically speaking, unthinking submission to the communal promotes the fitness of the members of the collective group.

The Facts

These are “Big Picture” trends about which it can be sometimes be challenging to maintain an optimistic perspective, given the imperialistic quests by some of the larger world nations, when the inevitable path to peace may exceed the observer’s lifetime.  Patience and long-suffering (no one’s favorite), according to Cayce, are repeated Godly attributes.

Meanwhile, until nations come around and measure up ethically to a Sunday School child, it looks like we’re going to have to exercise the recurring lesson of patience.

Peace

A couple of years ago, at the Edgar Cayce Canada Conference in Kingston, Kevin Todeschi had us conduct an exercise to identify which ideal we find most compelling.  Mine was PEACE.

Performing Pie Jesu, Jackie Evancho sings “Dona eis requiem” which translates to “Give us peace”.

“Dona Nobis Pacem” means the same thing.  It looks like these are Latin synonyms like peace and tranquility.

Either way you say it:

May we all know peace in our hearts that we might radiate it into the world.

Jog Log Blog – Henrielle

This is Henrielle the Blue Heron who fishes by the Burquitlam Dam. I see her often when jogging around Burnaby Lake.  Sometimes I see a different younger heron which, I’m guessing, is her offspring. The Dam is a good place to stretch stiff tendons, with access to a water pump nearby, and admire the river view in both directions.

The Burnaby Lake view of the outflow.

The great Blue Heron is my Spirit Animal. During the 90’s I went on a 10-day Vision Quest, praying, meditating, and fasting alone in Golden Years Park. At night I started to see the world through the eyes of a blue heron; basically the river bed through water patiently waiting for a fish to swim by.

At night I could also hear an owl and could imagine hearing its voice in the origins of native flute playing. I’ll wager that, in the past, owls have sung along to nocturnal native flute virtuosos just as North Shore natives used to add magic to the Wolf Spirit bedtime story by howling into the night to be met by a chorus of real wolf howls. One night, I heard an avalanche rumble through the valley knowing that I was likely the only human being who heard it.

The primary attribute of a blue heron is its stately patience. We all know that patience is a recurring lesson in our lives but how many know that, according to Edgar Cayce, it’s one of the three fundamental elements of the universe: 1. Space 2. Matter 3. Patience

Patience replaces Time in conventional thinking which, evidently, is all happening at once – something that’s difficult to comprehend for us in this slow, dense, apparently linear, cyclic form.

Herons don’t think about patience. They just do it in order to eat. They fly over our home between Burnaby Lake and Burrard Inlet twice a day according to wherever the tide offers the best fishing. This summer, Vicki and I, seated on our back deck, were treated, between humming bird visits, to the sight of a powerfully flapping heron, chased by smaller birds, rounding a nearby conifer in the park next door.

Earlier this summer, on a walk at Burnaby Lake, Vicki and I encountered “Bobby” the bobcat. He just sauntered on the trail away from us for a bit. Evidently he had been dining on a lot of goslings at that time so I was happy to see, recently, a brown rabbit cross the path near that same spot. The rabbits have been culled from our own neighbourhood by coyotes.  Later, on that same walk, we came across a turtle trying to lay eggs. The sand has been too dry for laying eggs this year so there were conservationists nearby ready to take them away in a Rubbermaid bin.

Among the endorphins there are some interesting jogging states of mind that can be played with when out for a run. An old favorite is to imagine that you’re running in place and that the world is rolling around, matching your path, beneath you. Since the weather became nice enough for jogging this year I’ve been enjoying a new jogging mantra based on Cayce’s two primary Universal Laws; 1. We are One 2. We are Love

These can be used for different paces.

“We are one, step, we are love, step…”

“We are one, step, step, step, We are Love, step, step, step…”

or just “One” and holding the thought for as long as posible… Then “Love…”

or, running hard… …”One, Love, One, Love, One, Love…”

On one occasion, I was running up the very steep apex of a steep hill on Burnaby Mountain, imagining great angel wings, moving slightly in accord with my elbows, lifting me up, spreading my spine, my heart pounding… “ONE, step, LOVE, step, ONE, step LOVE…” with great elation at cresting the top.  I don’t know what the metaphysical properties might be of such heart-felt profound all-encompassing emotion but, they’ve gotta be good.

While jogging the mantra tends to give way to other thoughts between thoughts, but, like meditation, when your mind wanders, it’s a good, even extraordinary, thought to keep returning to.

Just wanted to put it out there.

A Universal Muse

In a previous post;“A Galactic Muse”, I put some things into perspective.  Herein I’ll attempt to put everything into perspective.

“Galaxies, like stars themselves, typically occur in families ranging from just a few members… …to as many as 10,000 in colossal superstructures”. (James Mullaney)

This is the first map of the colossal supercluster of galaxies known as Laniakea. The red dot shows the location Earth’s Milky Way galaxy.  There are countless other superclusters, and other groupings, in the Universe.

And one thing that we know for sure is that the Universe is always expanding.

“God is reflected in our concept of space. In the vastness of space self-conceit falters. We are humblest when gazing at the stars. We draw nearer to God in contemplation of the immensity of the Universe.”  (A Search For God, Book II)

Challenge: Read the list in my previous “Divine Adjectives” post, stating “I Am…” to better know God’s perspective relative to your own.

Edgar Cayce and the Cosmos by James Mullaney just came in the mail from Amazon and simply thumbing through the pictures for the first time prompted this post.  It’s no longer available from the A.R.E. Bookstore.

Right Brain Politics

Beyond voting I’m not usually a particularly political person but the upcoming elections seem to invite participation.

With these elections looming there are a couple of personal attributes worth considering that would be found desirable, by anyone, in any leader: 1) Ability to see the “Big Picture”, and 2) Love.  How does your candidate stack up with regard to these two talents/capabilities?

Left Brain Users want to terminate everything.  In a lover’s quarrel men usually seek a happy ending whereas women seek an on-going loving understanding and involvement.

Men predominantly use only the left side of their brain.  Women use both sides.   Men are terminal.  Women are more “Big Picture” and love.

See [See time code 29.50 – 32.19  of the above Youtube video about experiments on individuals with a severed corpus callosum.  The (left hemisphere) right hand is unable to complete, or even conceive of, the simplest “BIG picture” puzzles.  The (right hemisphere) left hand even sometimes grows impatient with the right hand’s inability pushing it asside and trying to complete the puzzle itself.  The individual’s two hands sincerely perform a mini fight/dance with each other.

Many women enjoy the thought that, if women were the world’s leaders then there wouldn’t be any conflict due to their maternal nurturing instincts.  Unfortunately history doesn’t yet stack up in favour of the hypothesis as evidenced by the relatively recent military actions of Margaret Thatcher and Indira Ghandi.  Golda Meir may have come the closest when, during the Arab-Israeli War she, at least, backed by the US war machine, initiated Peace Talks with the United Arab Republic.  Not a great record.  Notwithstanding I’d love to give women a greater chance to lead based on their inherent right brain ability and potential, and given a mandate of demonstrating “Big Picture” and love. This held accountable to a well-funded public oversight committee.

[Aside: Israel is going to have to find a way to share the Temple on the Mount. God is God. Love is Love. Neighbours are neighbours.  There’s a 2nd commandment about them.  Edgar Cayce’s 2nd Universal Law is “Love is law, law is love.”  His 1st is “We are One” including nature.]

Speaking of oversight Edgar Cayce stated that: “There are very few who power doesn’t destroy”.  This is a very good reason that political terms should be limited and not become careers.

So, again…  …how does your candidate stack up to the criteria of 1) Big Picture and, 2) Love?  Which of the other candidates appear to have these abilities coupled with the traditional necessary left brain linear logical and conclusive talent?

Science and Spirituality Master Piece

I’ve always assumed that spirituality, along with the apparent ESP trappings of its mastery, would one day have a known basis in science.  I’ve speculated that this might possibly be found within some combination of frequencies within the frequency range beyond gamma that’s currently faster than we’re able to measure.  Certainly we’re unable to measure the differing frequencies of rocks and minerals.  What happens when we expose them to different frequencies?

“The gift of mental power comes from God, Divine Being, and if we concentrate our minds on that truth, we become in tune with this great power.” – Nikola Tesla

“Science without religion is lame; religion without science is blind.” – Albert Einstein

“I want to know how God created this world. I’m not interested in this or that phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know His thoughts, the rest are details.” – Albert Einstein

Many other hypotheses have been posited to integrate properties of God and science from creation taking place in the collapse of probability waves to the properties of quantum entanglement.

Dr. Amit Goswami  relabels God as “Non-Local Quantum Consciousness” in physics parlance. While he may be more so than me, like Ram Das, he’s a professor and not yet a master of spirituality.  Some masters currently graduate considerably more rarely than others.

There have also been genuine masters who apparently deploy the name of science to pique the interest of a western world that worships the logical discipline.

“We should take care not to make the intellect our God: it has, of course, powerful muscles, but no personality.” – Albert Einstein

When Parmahansa Yogananda first arrived in North America his first lecture was “The Science of Religion”.  The Science of Spirituality is also a church led by Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj, a computer scientist.  Both are respected spiritual masters.

BTW Edgar Cayce stated that we’d all be masters in the fullness of time – and that linear time doesn’t exist.

“Everyone is a genius.” – Albert Einstein

“Few are those who see with their own eyes and feel with their own hearts.” – Albert Einstein

When it comes to science and spirituality Edgar Cayce offers us some, new to many, greater fundamentals that moves the scientific process into the brain’s right hemisphere:

THE ONE

“There are immutable laws governing man’s relationship to the Universe.  The first principle is that the Universe is One.  “There are Divine (aka Universal) laws as there are nature’s laws and their application change according to circumstance, or manner of application and understanding.”  Edgar Cayce 2615-1

“Don’t think that the body is a haphazard machine, or that the things which happen to individuals are chance.  It is all law!”   Edgar Cayce 2067-1

“I shall never believe that God plays dice with the world.” – Albert Einstein

“Coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous.” – Albert Einstein

James Lovelock, the author of the the “Gaia” principle, wrote about his findings regarding the macro interrelationship of all living things.  A serious scientist he was completely surprised when he started to receive correspondence thanking him for the great spiritual work.

“The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It will transcend personal God and avoid dogma and theology.” – Albert Einstein

Universal laws include 1. Like begets like. 2. As he sows so shall he reap.  3. As a man thinketh in his heart so is he.  These idioms are idioms for good reason; Should the individual (finite) mind turn within for the law, until the understanding rises, there is the consciousness in the finite of the Infinite moving upon, and in, the inner self.  (paraphrased from 262-52)

That which you dwell upon you become.

“True religion is real living; living with all one’s soul, with all one’s goodness and righteousness.” – Albert Einstein

“Imagination is more important than knowledge.” – Albert Einstein

“The law of environment, relativity, heredity, is the same in the spiritual activity as in the material earthly — matter conditions.” Edgar Cayce 683-1

“And if thy life is disturbed, if thy heart is sad, if thy body is racked with pain, it is thine bungling of the laws that are as Universal as Life itself.”   Edgar Cayce 281-27

Changing our World and Ourselves Through Compassion

Gratitude is also healthier for our hearts.

“Love is Law and Law is Love”

(“L LAW” in a previous post as an alien)

How many police officers, operatives, lawyers, judges and lawmakers know this and consider it in their work?

Police Distribute Snacks

“I come not to take away the law but to fulfill same.” Matt 5:17

“As humans apply these universal laws, humans develop.  They gradually become capable of applying and using these in everyday life.  This is true whether applied to medical science, in anatomical science or in mechanical science and so on.”   Edgar Cayce 900-70

“My brain is only a receiver, In the Universe there is a core from which we obtain knowledge, strength, inspiration. I have not penetrated into the secrets of this core, but I know that it exists.” – Nikola Tesla

My new Positive Links Page has been cleared of dead wood and I open it most mornings.  I’ll try to keep improving it.  It’s a worthy bookmark.  Know the facts.

“Science and Religion are one when their purposes are one.” Edgar Cayce 5023-2

IMO science and God mix inexorably but at some point science itself becomes insufficient to know its Maker.

The nanosecond that faith is questioned; it’s gone. The nature of scientific method is mutually exclusive to the nature of faith. It’s insufficient to be a passive observer when the observer affect immediately, upon its thought, terminates the hypothesis.

Even science is a shortcut in a realm where shortcuts don’t work.

Getting in Our Right Mind

It must be frustrating for North American national governments to continue to try to sell  the “WE’RE IN DANGER!” militarization story when the true empirical evidence points in the opposite direction.  At what point does (did?) this fear mongering become an absurdity?  At its inception?  What is the trending inevitable conclusion made evident in the following?

Stevan Pinker – 2015 Nobel Peace Price Forum

In this lecture about why humans are so interested in violence Canadian born Harvard Professor and Nobel Laureate Steven Pinker states that there are 2 crimes via which Violence News Codependency makes humans commit violence because of anticipation of how it will covered in the news media. Both are low-death/high visibility events and are pretty much creations of the news media:

1. Terrorism – “ A technology for extracting the maximum amount of publicity for the smallest amount of violence. By any count terrorism accounts for a trivial proportion of the world’s deaths by violence to say nothing of deaths from all causes put together. The most damaging event in history was 911 which killed fewer than 3000 people. That’s kind of “in the noise” when it comes to statistics on homicide or civil wars. – 14:00
2. Rampage Killings – Occurs because of the wall-to-wall news coverage. Those for whom notoriety is more important than life itself and it’s easier than curing cancer.

Professor Pinker’s data coalesces neatly with the many data sets of Hans Rosling, and other data sets, to demonstrate conclusively how very much the world is becoming an increasingly better, more peaceful, place in almost every way.  See the uplifting “THE FACTS” section of my Positive Links web page.

When the government is telling us one thing and the overwhelming evidence is demonstrating the opposite to be true how do we stay in our right mind?

Steven Pinker’s video conveys excellent positive data but the following Ted Talk was(is?), at least at one time, the most popular Ted Talk in history:

Jill Bolte Taylor’s Stroke of Insight.  This video conveys the significance of staying in our reasoning linear world in a cyclic universe.  Don’t leave home without your left hemisphere.

Unfortunately the left hemisphere is also more of a cold, selfish, entropic, misanthrope.  It deduces for you as real possibilities things that may not even exist and it’s that same little negative voice that sometimes berates you.  The left brain is also incapable of seeing the simplest “Big Picture”.

The right hemisphere exclusively has capacity of vision to see the “Big Picture” as well as the capacity for, among other emotions, “Love”   Both are supremely significant factors.

I’ve previously mentioned the great on-going universal battle of Life Vs Entropy.  “We” Vs “I”.

The right hemisphere is “Life”and “We” and “Love” and “Big Picture” and “Music” and “Creativity” and “Nature”.

When the Corpus Collosum, which connects the brain’s hemispheres, is severed the subject develops a syndrome whereby, for example, the subject’s left hand actually struggles with the right hand in order for it to complete a simple “Big Picture” puzzle.  [See time code 29.50 – 32.19 of this video.  More examples at time code 38.25 – 39.25 of this video.

Brain Hemisphere Primer – Alan Alda interviews Michael Gazzaniga

More Recent History

Increased stimulation of the left hemisphere has historically been taking place from the time, and as a result, of the invention of the alphabet, mathematics, and the printing press.  While the two hemispheres generally work in tandem the left hemisphere has incurred, for many hundreds of recent years, the vast preponderance of input data.

But the hemispheres are an ultimately an equal couple and the scientific revolution has recently, as an adjunct, given rise to visual icons; video games, pics, and movies all of which stimulate the vision of the right hemisphere as does, now ubiquitously-available, music.  This current significant increasing stimulation of the right hemisphere is largely an offspring of the Internet.

Again: The right hemisphere is “Life”and “We” and “Love” and “Big Picture” and “Music” and “Creativity” and “Nature”.

Oversight Oversight

It’s ironic how aggressive organizations create their own opposition out of what would otherwise be a peaceful coexistence. If Kinder Morgan’s Astroturf group B.R.O.K.E., via their extravaganza, hadn’t slapped me so hard in the face that I lost my Alien persona, I would have never written a post regarding Kinder Morgan Projects.

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of more positive subjects to write about but on February 26, 2015 I got slapped hard again.

I like to think that this was an RCMP leak indicating that there may still be good, and just, and honorable members out there who still want to be what they always wanted to be and contribute to the improvement of the country and the world and not to its increased creepiness.

In a gross violation of the Fundamental Freedoms of The Charter of Rights, Prime Minister Stephen Harper has identified all pipeline protestors as potential  “Violent Anti-Petroleum Extremists” and, because I wrote Kinder Morgan Projects, that includes me.  I will NOT remove the post.

This means increased surveillance via CSEC, not CSIS, an electronic surveillance organization which is under the purview of the Department of Defense (DOD). Has Stephen Harper declared war on his own people on behalf of the oil industry and his next Conservative election campaign?

Notable potential “Violent Anti-Petroleum Extremists” are Canada’s indigenous native population.  Minister of Natural Resources Greg Rickford writes that the government’s pipeline plan is for “…enhanced engagement with Aboriginal groups.”  Enhanced is a vague adjective, to be sure, but isn’t it reminiscent of the “enhanced interrogation techniques” of Abu Ghraib?   Does it, in fact, include torture?

While the policy is open-minded enough to include Metis, the ground water poisoning of the bitumen fracking at the Alberta (AB) tarsands is committing (FOR GOD’S SAKE!) eugenic genocide  of AB’s indigenous peoples.

The Indigenous Perspective

How relevant is this to the writings of Reverend Kevin Arnette who long alleged the long-term historic native eugenic genocide mission of the Federal Government?

Humans who think this fracking isn’t eugenic genocide should ask themselves, in that old Hollywood interpretation of the native tongue,…

…How?

This photo of a Cree child is known for “the staging of the gun in hand, ostensibly symbolizing his ‘savage’ proclivities…”

Who else is a Violent Anti-Petroleum Extremist?

Both of the gentle feminine creatures above were arrested for protesting the Kinder Morgan Pipeline.  On the right is Professor Lynne Quarmby Green Party candidate and and Science Policy Critic for the upcoming Federal election for the riding of North Burnaby (Freshly radically gerrymandered into North Vancouver across Burrard Inlet).

What are the odds that Professor Quarmby’s office doesn’t have every incoming-and-outgoing pixel and sound bite recorded by CSEC?  What are the odds that every Green Party Member, as potential “Violent Anti-Petroleum Extremists” aren’t monitored equally scrupulously?  The New Democratic Party (NDP), have declared their anti-pipeline position.  Who thinks that the Prime Minister has sufficient self control to not put them under electronic scrutiny as well for his Conservative political agenda?

How closely now are journalists and bloggers monitored who have, at some time, written a critical article about a pipeline?

I’ve personally never heard of any pipeline violence initiated by protestors.  Is it the Emperor’s New Uniform?  As far as I know Mr. Harper has thrown the first punch.  It’s important to note that the Prime Minister has introduced violence into the picture for the first time and then sicked the DOD onto innocent citizens, indigenous natives, and his political opposition.

Evidently, in Canada, the Prime Minister cannot be impeached.  This is an unfortunate  because it could lead to a Prime Minister thinking that he’s above the law.  Here’s a petition for parliament to create policies for impeachment.

In the United States President Nixon was impeached for trying to install listening devices in the National Democratic Headquarters at the Watergate Hotel.  How many more people is Prime Minister Harper illegally, feloniously, surveilling?

In their C-51 analysis law professors Craig Forese of the University of Ottawa and Kent Roach of the University of Toronto, identify the following very real problems with C-51:

“CSIS will be able to get warrants at secret hearings to violate Canadians’ rights, which risks creating “a secret jurisprudence on when CSIS can act beyond the law.””

“CSIS will have “open-ended authorization whose proper and reasonable application will depend on perfect government judgment.””

“They worry that Canadians can’t have confidence CSIS won’t be used to target political enemies of the government.”

Former CSIS Officer       Former CSIS Officials

With his declaration of “Violent Anti-Petroleum Extremists” the Prime Minister isn’t waiting for the passage of C-51 to make it even quasi-legal.

In order to enact the C-51 “Terrorism” bill Prime Minister Harper doesn’t demure from acting on the lessons of infamous Nazi Party leader Hermann Goering:

“…Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers (as conspiracy theorists) for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” – Goering at the Nuremberg Trials

Stephen Harper has always been the far-away oily Ontario guy who we’ve had (no choice in British Columbia [BC]) to patiently endure for an eternity longer than the Americans had to endure George W. Bush.  But now, in the fullest extreme of attacking with a fringed flag assault, Mr. Harper is attacking innocent Canadians, via no less than the DOD, by projecting his own aggressive violations onto them.

Who Oversees the Overseers?

Regarding the C-51 Big Brother “Terrorist” Bill many, including many former Prime Ministers, are calling for up-to-the minute oversight of CSIS but how many Canadians are even aware of the existence of CSEC, the military Canadian counterpart of the American NSA that conducts all of the country’s electronic surveillance?  CSEC is geographically adjacent to CSIS but mandated under the DOD.  Consequently any new funding for oversight of CSIS will not include the more greatly needed oversight of CSEC as well.  Without oversight of CSEC the offensive, abusive, intrusive, violating surveillance of innocent Canadian citizens will continue.

I can attest that I’ve certainly felt terrorized since they’ve been alleged to be in my computer system.

It may be a coincidence but, since CSEC has been into my personal computer I’ve started receiving criminal (credit card fraud etc.) and lascivious SPAM email solicitations for the first time.  Is generating and cultivating indecency via email part of what CSEC does?  Is the creation of criminal start-ups, and amoral acts, a part of its regular routine?  Are they modern electronic retrograde “Barn Burners”.

Evidently 80% of Canadians feel that this Bill C-51, incursion into their Fundamental Freedoms is OK because they have nothing to hide.  (Decreased by 40% the day this blog was posted) Those many who think “Why not?” re. C-51 need to know that in their innocence they’re also proclaiming their naivety.   The innocence that they’re projecting onto the Prime Minister’s office doesn’t exist but rather is motivated by superimposing Canada’s Fundamental Freedoms with personal Fundamental Greedoms.

On a related note, who’s going to compensate BC as the salmon stocks are increasingly unable to return because cold-blooded fish are unable to tolerate a small increase in water temperature?

Prime Minister Harper’s Secret Kinder Morgan Oil Pipeline Oral Meetings

It’s important to note that, in critical Pipeline and Charter of Rights and Freedom Violation matters, Canada’s Liberal Party votes in lockstep with the Conservative party.  As in the U.S. the top 2 parties look like a choice between the puppet on the right or the puppet on the left.

What can we do about it?

First things first:

1. In the upcoming Federal Elections (October 19, 2015) vote NDP or Green or for an independent candidate.  Even the “Any excuse for a party” Rhinoceros Party of Canada would at least be benign relative to those who would cause massive scale long-term public harm.

2.  Leadnow.ca appears to be an “Anybody but Harper” group.

3.  Enacting a law that would require that all politicians serve no more than a single term would remove most of the corruption from politics; perhaps two terms could be served by those in public office demonstrating a record of exceptional statesmanship.  Could this be initiated by the RCMP as an anti-corruption proposal?  How many Canadians would sign it as an Avaaz petition?  Good people, for a change, would take a break from work and serve in a respected position of governance for a term before returning to their regular jobs and lives.  The public service would be a resume’ enhancement.  The severe risk posed by a career of ‘Power’ would be significantly reduced.

4. Sign this petition for parliament to make it possible to impeach the Prime Minister.

Edgar Cayce stated it a bit more severely than the old “Power Corrupts” idiom:

“Few does power not destroy.”  3976-13

Edgar Cayce, in his pan-lifetime world view, advises us to be patient with all souls who all must eventually come around.  Under the circumstances the best I could say to Prime Minister Harper is: Please stop causing harm and leave.

Now let’s see if these oil-owned organizations can stop slapping me.  God knows I’d rather be worlds away in pleasantness.
